The Büsum lighthouse
For over a century, the Büsum lighthouse has stood as a proud landmark on the North Sea coast, guiding ships safely through the Wadden Sea. Built in 1912, today it combines tradition and maritime flair in a unique way.
The red and white tower with its characteristic lantern is visible from afar and symbolizes safety, orientation and home for the people of Büsum and its many visitors. Surrounded by the rugged beauty of the North Sea, the lighthouse tells stories of seafaring, storms and calm periods on the coast.
Büsum's maritime harbor
The harbor with its fishing boats and other ships invites you to stroll around. You can also buy freshly caught crabs from the cutter here. Take a look at the lighthouse, which is over 100 years old and 21 meters high.
Family lagoon on the North Sea coast
The Perlebucht family lagoon attracts holidaymakers of all ages. It consists of two large tide-independent pools separated by a wide jetty. This leads to an artificial island, where there is a sandy beach and numerous leisure activities such as beach volleyball and beach soccer - a true leisure paradise for young and old.
